Based on the Ferrari Growtech REMOWEED interplant and Interrow Hoe, the TWISTWEED AI offers camera guided, precise inter plant and inter row targetted weeding.
The cameras work in combination with a microcomputer. The computer compares the photos taken by the camera with an artificial intelligence model that has been created using a database that produces the photo of the same crop we are weeding. When a plant is identified the hoes are activated according to the parameters set by the user
(distance from hoes to plant). The star shaped rotating hoes twist to remove the weed whilst not raising any spoil that might dirty neighbouring crop.

- The machine is equipped with an automatic hydraulic floating frame able to shift 15cm in both directions which centres automatically every time the machine is lifted.
- The frame contains a number of elements equal to the number of rows to be weeded.
- The hoe elements are comprised of interchangeable star shaped rotors driven via brushless electric motors
- Rotors of variable diameter are used to work in different crop rotations.
- The star shaped rotating inter plant hoes don’t raise debris and do not dirty the plants they are much more precise because the AI camera is locating the centre
of the plant
- Forward speeds are increased on the TWISTWEED AI with the new AI technology.
- Plant identification is via global shutter camera utilizing LED strobe lighting
- Each element works in conjunction with its own independent camera system and micro computer using the artificial intelligence model contained in a database to identify the plants and weeds

- Each rotating hoe unit is mounted on a linear guide to follow the ground with the inter row elements mounted on a rear oscillating tube.
- Operator control is via a user friendly interface installed on mobile , tablet dedicated device provided by FERRARI ( suitable for an agricultural environment) allowing several users to access the machine at the same time if required.

- There is provision for remote control by SIM CARD for autonomous customer assistance
- The TWISTWEED AI is equipped with its own fully integrated PTO powered energy group comprising of all the required electric and hydraulic systems.
