Chassis designed with the user in mind
A strong open plan tubular chassis provides great strength without excess weight. The open plan chassis allows for superb driver visibility and easy maintenance access. Lifting, separating, vine removing, sizing and discharge functions are all optimised to give great harvesting performance every time you lift your crops.
VariStep and OMEGA Technology
With large digging area and sieving webs, VariStep adjustable web step and proven OMEGA separation technology this harvester is built to perform. Gentle lifting with lowest possible transfer heights and low angle webs all help to ensure that your crops are always handled with care.
The drive line is simple and robust requiring minimal attention whilst long life components provide maximum reliability. All hydraulic variable speed drives are featured throughout the harvester; speeds are adjustable from the drivers cab. The Standen TSP 1900 Sweet Potato Harvester uses a suitably prepared section of its tubular chassis as a high capacity hydraulic oil reservoir, providing effective natural oil cooling, thermostatically controlled electric oil cooling is standard equipment.
VariSep for easy sieving web adjustments
The VariSep system enables the operator to easily raise and lower the sieving web by 20cm to vary separation at the web step between the digging and sieving webs via turnbuckles. This helps the operator minimise crop damage. Clever geometry in the VariSep linkage maintains a constant gap between the webs. Special Duracam stars are designed to start the gentle separation process, gently moving the sweet potatoes to the main separation area.
Fully adjustble digging depth at the driver's finger tips
The Standen TSP 1900 Sweet Potato Harvester has a suspension mounted lifting frame floating independently from the main chassis, following the land contours automatically. Anti-Dive geometry helps the automatic depth control maintain constant share depth on all soil types. Gentle Clod and Stone removal
The OMEGA system provides gentle, effective high capacity separation of clods, stones, vines and weeds for efficient crop cleaning and removal of unwanted material. Soft gentle special polymer scroll rollers with air pockets work together with rubber or steel clod rollers in an easily adjustable system suitable for all conditions.
A full adjustable roller sizer can be set for 1 3/8" to 2 5/8" inch roller gaps, providing on harvester precision grading.
Unloading to both sides of the harvester is possible using the twin boom system. Small sized sweet potatoes can be discharged separately.
