Standen Engineering Ltd has purchased Salmac Ltd.
Standen Engineering and Salmac, which specialise in the supply and support of vegetable, salad & fruit machinery for the grower, have shared a mutual working relationship since January 2020. Over the last two years they have shared sales teams and allowed Standen to offer even more niche imports brands to their established UK and Republic Of Ireland customer base.
Tom Jones, the Managing Director of Salmac Ltd is taking the opportunity to follow other avenues after more than 30 years in the industry. Tom will stay on for a period as a consultant and to provide some continuity during the transfer of the business to Standen Engineering.
