In March 2024's Farmers Guardian James Huyton visited David and Chris White of H.S White & Sons who farm just outside Doncaster to find out more about their SR200 planter. In its second season with them, their comments include:
"The pressurised hood system works well to gather and release soil along the length of the bed, giving plenty of soil in the ridge."
"We are always out measuring seed placement in the drill, whether that is for depth or spacing. We cannot fault the Standen (SR200) for consistency."
"I have spent a lot of time standing on the planter checking for doubles or misses, but if you set the machine up correctly for the seed you have no issues."
"The planter offers plenty of mounting points for applications, without compromising accessibility around the planter."
