Standen Engineering is delighted to announce that Agricar, their Scotland based dealer, have exceeded £2,000,000 worth of sales in less than 3 years.
Billy Beatson, Northern Area Sales Manager for Standen Engineering, visited Agricar last week to present John Craig, their Potato Machinery Sales Manager with a crystal award to commemorate the excellent sales figures. Of the achievement Billy Beatson said “Agricar have been a dealer for less than 3 years and in that time have proven themselves to not only be an excellent partner in terms of machinery sales but also in terms of parts and servicing capability. Their 80 fleet vehicles mean that they can be very responsive in the unlikely event of a grower issue and we know that this is very much appreciated. We hope that our partnership can go from strength to strength in the next 3 years.”
John Craig of Agricar also commented “Adding Standen as a manufacturer to our potato machinery division has proven to be very successful. Our growers like the effectiveness of the whole range of Standen machinery, as well as how gentle, reliable and easy to operate their harvesters are. Being UK based means that we have had very few issues with parts or machine availability especially in recent months. We hope that our Standen sales continue to grow apace.”
Agricar was established in 1986 and in the last 35 years have grown to include 6 depots across the central belt of Scotland employing 122 people with a turnover of £37,000,000. Agricar became a machinery and parts dealer for Standen Engineering Ltd in December 2018.
